Jordan, Minn. – In light of challenging times, Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative’s Operation Round Up program has awarded the majority of its second quarter 2020 funds to 20 area food shelves and school food programs – accounting for $20,000 of the total $31,330 distributed.
Operation Round Up is funded when MVEC members round up their monthly electric bills to the nearest dollar amount. When this extra change is combined, the ORU Trust Fund Board fulfills donation requests to area organizations and charities that submit applications. Organizations receiving 2nd quarter donations include:
