Rockford, MN — Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association (WH) recently donated
$3,000 to two local meal programs: Metro Meals on Wheels and Wright County Community
Action’s Frozen Meals program. These donations are to assist people struggling with food
during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Metro Meals on Wheels is a community-based service that delivers fresh, nutritious meals
throughout the Twin Cities, including Hennepin County, to homes of seniors and individuals with
disabilities. Wright County Community Action’s Frozen Meals program provides nutritious, heat-to-eat
meals to seniors in Wright County.
“As a cooperative, one of our seven principles is Concern for Community,” said Tim Sullivan,
president and CEO of WH. “These two donations are just one way we help to support our communities
and members during these difficult times.”
Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association is a member-owned, not-for-profit electric
